With the Super Export 339, Porsche Diesel wanted to offer a three-cylinder in the class up to 30 hp that was intended to attract new customers. It was also marketed at a significantly lower price. However, the other technical equipment was identical to the Super Export 329.
The Super Export 329 was introduced in June 1961 and was a completely new development by Porsche-Diesel-Motorenbau GmbH, Friedrichshafen and Porsche KG, Stuttgart. It was equipped with a vibration-damped parallelogram seat, a socket, tractor meter, glow plug monitor and glow starter switch. It could also be equipped with a hood (Fritzmeier M-201), heating and a passenger seat. The special equipment of the Porsche Super-Export 329 also included a 5″ mower, a front PTO and a front linkage and a power lift with three-point hitch, additional weights, a belt pulley, control hydraulics and a Baas front loader Group II. It also had an optional overdrive gearbox.
The front axle (pendulum) and rear axle (rigid) of the Porsche Super Export 329 are adjustable. With four-way adjustable axles (1448, 1548, 1648 mm) and an optional six-way adjustable rear axle to 1225, 1325, 1425, 1525, 1625 and 1725 mm.
The engine came in its basic concept from the Super L319. Two variants were used for the engines: type F329a and the F339a. They were identical except for the RPM at peak power, the F329a revving slightly higher. Otherwise, both had a displacement of 2625 ccm and an output of 30 hp. The T25 transmission supplied by Deutz was equipped with eight forward and two reverse gears. The speeds of the first group were completely below the second group.
The equipment options were varied. Above all, today’s highly sought-after transmission with overdrive, oil-hydraulic and double clutch, front and rear hydraulics, front loader and much more.
