The Porsche Master 419 came onto the market in 1960 as a replacement for the Master 418. The new F419 engine with a displacement of 3.5 liters and 50 hp was installed. The ZF transmission was a special feature at Porsche – eight forward and four reverse gears were shifted in three groups (field, road and reverse). Optional overdrive gear. A dual clutch provided independent operation of the travel clutch and PTO shafts mounted front and rear. The fuel tank initially had a capacity of 46 liters but was increased to 60 liters in 1961.

Only 1,175 units of the Porsche Master 419 were manufactured in four versions (A, B, C, D). Version A and C, for size 11-36 rear wheels, and version B and D, for size 13-30 rear wheels. C and D were the overdrive versions.

The gear pump was equipped with compressed air lubrication. The crankshaft had 5 bearings and the air sucked in was cleaned in the oil bath air filter.

The injection system and the cooling fan with thermostat control came from Bosch. The dry dual clutch came from Fichtl & Sachs. It had front and rear PTO. Optionas were front wheel mudguards and a mower.

The first tractors of the Porsche Master series (408 and 418) still had 3288 cc capacity. By increasing the bore from 95 to 98 mm, the subsequent models (409, 419 and 429) had exactly 3.5 liters of displacement, but retained an output of 50 hp at 2000 rpm.
