The A 111 was manufactured by Allgaier in three versions from 1952 to 1955. The tractor, introduced in 1952, was a typical “farm tractor” that was intended to provide motorization for small farms. In 1954, Allgaier brought the shorter model A 111 V onto the market specifically for grassland operations. In addition, in 1955, the A 111 tractor model was equipped with the Porsche hood and round fenders, giving this model the name A 111 L. A narrow-gauge variant A 111 S was also produced in limited numbers. In total 2074 of the A111 were manufactured. The engine is a Allgaier, standing air-cooled 1-cylinder 4-stroke vortex chamber diesel with pressure circulation lubrication using a piston pump, Bosch pin nozzle, hand-adjustable Allgaier centrifugal adjuster, double-bearing crankshaft, Bosch injection, remote thermometer, starting device, oil bath air filter and radial fan cooling.
